The little red
cabin on the corner of East Road & Denman Road came into the family in
1974. The original portion of the cabin
is dated back to the early 1900’s with multiple additions over the years. It
started as a small one-bedroom house and was expanded as the family grew. The cabin has provided many great memories
for family and friends through the years and is now available for short-term
rentals. There are three bedrooms downstairs plus an attic space with 5 beds.
There is one bathroom in the house with a shower/bath, toilet and sink and
there is also a fully functioning outhouse on the property and a shower located
outside (toward the end of the porch). There is a complete kitchen with a
separate dining area. In the living room the unique stone fireplace resides.
The cabin is heated by a combination of wood and oil. The cabin is located just
above Cable Beach, which means that you are a short stroll to the beach for
walks and collecting oysters & clams. The little red cabin is available for
short term stays and can be rented on a nightly and weekly basis:
Cost per night $200.00 (1-4 persons) and $250 per night (5-8 persons)

Cost per week x 5 days (Sunday to Friday) is $1000 (1-4 persons) and $1250 (5-8 persons)
